Application Architect – Medical Imaging (Remote, UK)
Are you an experienced Application Architect ready to shape the future of AI-driven medical imaging in clinical research?
We’re hiring an Application Architect, Medical Imaging to lead the design of next-generation, cloud-native SaaS platforms supporting global clinical trials. In this newly created, fully remote UK role, you’ll bridge architectural vision and engineering delivery—ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS architectures for large-scale imaging platforms
- Translating business needs into clear architectural designs and technical enablers
- Architecting microservices, APIs, and AI/ML integrations for imaging workflows
- Designing platforms handling DICOM/NIfTI data at scale with real-time and batch processing
- Ensuring regulatory compliance (FDA, GxP, HIPAA) and robust security frameworks
- Leading architectural decisions and mentoring engineering teams

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience building enterprise-scale cloud SaaS platforms
- Deep expertise in medical imaging (DICOM) and clinical workflows
- Strong background in AI/ML integration and MLOps
- Experience with microservices, APIs, and modern cloud architectures
- Ability to balance innovation, performance, and regulatory requirements
