Role Description
This part-time Application Developer role at Nebula is a hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain web-based and internal applications that support Nebula’s marketing workflows and client delivery. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, implementing user interfaces, working with databases, and integrating different tools and systems to streamline processes. The role involves collaborating with the marketing and operations teams to understand requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and ensuring applications are secure, scalable, and reliable. The Application Developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing applications and technical documentation.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming to design, implement, and maintain applications.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data securely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect applications with third-party tools, APIs, and internal systems.
- Candidates should have familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, frameworks), version control systems, and basic security best practices.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills when working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should have relevant education or equivalent practical experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with marketing, analytics, or CRM platforms is beneficial, as is prior experience in SME or agency environments.
