About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our client's dynamic development team. This role involves supporting and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications critical to global clients' operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Delphi-based application development, with extensive experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving legacy systems. You will work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that ensure system stability and scalability. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive set of technical skills and experience, including:
- Strong commercial experience with Delphi (XE2, XE10 & later) with at least 10 years of hands-on development experience.
- Solid expertise in MS SQL Server and Transact SQL, with over 10 years of experience in database management and optimization.
- Experience with .NET C# development, with a minimum of 3 years of practical application.
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale, data-driven applications and architecture.
- Ability to analyze, refactor, and improve existing codebases to enhance performance and maintainability.
- Experience working within structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining, supporting, and enhancing existing enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs.
- Diagnosing and resolving software defects, performance bottlenecks, and technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborating closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Developing secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions aligned with organizational standards.
- Participating in ongoing system improvements, code reviews, and future development initiatives.
- Contributing to documentation, testing, and deployment processes to ensure seamless updates and system stability.
