About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our client's dynamic development team. This role involves supporting and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications critical to global clients' operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Delphi-based application development, with extensive experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving legacy systems. You will work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that ensure system stability and scalability. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive set of technical skills and experience, including:

  • Strong commercial experience with Delphi (XE2, XE10 & later) with at least 10 years of hands-on development experience.
  • Solid expertise in MS SQL Server and Transact SQL, with over 10 years of experience in database management and optimization.
  • Experience with .NET C# development, with a minimum of 3 years of practical application.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-scale, data-driven applications and architecture.
  • Ability to analyze, refactor, and improve existing codebases to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Experience working within structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining, supporting, and enhancing existing enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving software defects, performance bottlenecks, and technical issues efficiently.
  • Collaborating closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Developing secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions aligned with organizational standards.
  • Participating in ongoing system improvements, code reviews, and future development initiatives.
  • Contributing to documentation, testing, and deployment processes to ensure seamless updates and system stability.
