🚨 Application Engineer | Financial Services | Permanent | Hybrid
I'm working with a leading financial services organisation that's looking for an Application Engineer to support and enhance a portfolio of business-critical enterprise applications.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining application support, continuous improvement and modern AI tooling to drive operational excellence.

- Up to £70,000 (location dependent)

What we are looking for:
- Financial services experience is essential
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
- Strong Incident, Problem & Change Management (ITIL)
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Charles River, FactSet, SharePoint or similar
- Exposure to AI-enabled tooling, particularly Microsoft Copilot, automation or modern operational tooling
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and continuous improvement mindset
Nice to have:
- ServiceNow
- SQL or scripting experience
- Automation experience
- Operational resilience / disaster recovery knowledge

You'll act as the technical owner for a portfolio of applications, working closely with business users, project teams and vendors to improve reliability, automate operational tasks and ensure critical services remain secure and available.
