Shape the Future of Engineering Innovation

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading global engineering and industrial manufacturing organisation to recruit an Applications Engineer.

This is far more than a traditional engineering role.

The Company:

Our client is recognised worldwide for delivering highly engineered solutions that support critical industrial processes across a diverse range of sectors. Due to continued growth and ongoing investment in innovation, they are now seeking an ambitious Applications Engineer to join their Commercial Operations team.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of an organisation where engineering expertise genuinely drives business success. You'll work on technically challenging projects, influence product development, collaborate with customers and colleagues across the globe, and play a key role in developing the next generation of engineering solutions.

If you are naturally curious, enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, and want to work within an environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role:

As Applications Engineer, you will act as the technical bridge between customers, engineering, commercial teams, and product development.

You will provide specialist applications expertise, ensuring customers receive the most effective technical solutions to meet their operational requirements while supporting new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

No two days will be the same. You'll combine hands-on engineering expertise with problem-solving, technical analysis, customer engagement, and innovation to deliver high-value solutions across a global customer base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
