In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to turn packaging challenges into robust, value-adding solutions. You will be a trusted technical partner, supporting existing products and enabling new developments that drive profitable growth.

What You Will Do
As an Application Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of customers, sales, and R&D, translating application needs into the right packaging solutions.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Act as a technical expert for packaging applications at customers' manufacturing in meat markets across EMEA
- Support customers with product selection, application optimization, and effective product commercialization
- Support product enhancements and new developments in collaboration with R&D and Product Management
- Work closely with Sales and Field Technical Service to solve complex application issues
- Lead and support product qualifications, trials, and scale-ups at customer sites
- Conduct packaging line, shelf-life, and performance evaluations to demonstrate quantifiable customer value
- Capture customer and market insights to identify portfolio gaps, innovation opportunities, and competitive trends
- Share knowledge internally and contribute to building strong application capabilities across the organization

What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or similar roles within flexible packaging in Dairy.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials and customer manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to assess customer needs and translate them into practical, scalable solutions
- Solid project management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a cross-functional, international environment
- Willingness to travel more than 50%
