Job Summary
Join Colorado College as an Application Programmer/Analyst and play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting the enterprise applications that power the College’s academic and administrative operations, transforming business needs into innovative, reliable, and secure technology solutions. This role develops, enhances, and supports enterprise applications that enable the College’s administrative and academic operations. This position translates institutional business requirements into technical solutions through application development, system customization, automation, and application support. The role is responsible for maintaining and modernizing enterprise applications, developing APIs and related services, and improving business processes through technology solutions. The position works closely with functional departments and technical staff to ensure applications are reliable, secure, and aligned with institutional.
Responsibilities
- Application Development and Support:
- Develop, customize, maintain, and support enterprise applications and related software solutions.
- Business Analysis and Solution Design:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs, application enhancements, and automated workflows.
- API, Integration, and Data Exchange:
- Develop and maintain APIs, application services, and data exchange solutions that support institutional business processes.
- Troubleshooting, Testing, and System Reliability:
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve application issues while ensuring system reliability, security, and data integrity.
- Application Modernization and Emerging Technologies:
- Support application modernization initiatives, including web-based solutions, automation technologies, analytics tools, and emerging technologies.
- Project Implementation and Deployment:
- Participate in project planning, implementation, and deployment activities for enterprise application initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3 years of experience in a related field
One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of relevant academic coursework beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
- $74,262 to $90,972 per year

As part of the total compensation for Staff and Faculty roles, we offer a competitive benefits package including:
