Job Summary
- Salary: Up to £55,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (Hybrid, with periods fully on-site required)
- Location: 40 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7AW
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
The IT Digital Application Senior Analyst – Cancer Services acts as a key support to the primary expert for applications within their area of responsibility.
Reporting structure:
- Primary: Digital Application Manager, Cleveland Clinic London
- Dotted line: Wider Cleveland IT team
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for:
- Project work
- Maintenance
- Incident resolution (break/fix)
- Change requests
- Testing
- Upgrades & change control activities relating to their assigned applications
Core responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Manager and Deputy Manager to set priorities and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintains strong service relationships between IT and application users, acting as an interface with other departments and external stakeholders.
- Coordinates issues across teams to ensure smooth application performance.
- Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the organisation’s policies, procedures, and operations.

Partners with subject matter experts and Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management to ensure:
- Build consistency
- Patient-centric workflows end-to-end

Identifies and resolves production issues, including:
- Engaging the right parties
- Proposing solutions with minimal guidance

First point of contact for their assigned team, providing support to colleagues

Participates in planning, gathering customer input, and forecasting resource requirements

Works with customers to review system requirements, translating them into:
- Specific functions
- Deliverables

Collaborates with clinical, business, and technical resources in a:
- Positive, supportive, collaborative team environment

Conducts analysis of:
- Process workflows
- Data collection
- Reporting requirements
- Translates findings into design where applicable

Reviews flowcharts, recommends improvements to:
- Reduce operational steps
- Enhance efficiency through technology
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential (must have):
- Certified in Beacon EPIC application (Essential)
- Extensive experience in IT, covering:
- Applications development and support
- End-user training
- (or equivalent experience* in operational/financial roles*)
- Technical knowledge of:
- Epic modules
- Ancillary systems
- Health system operations
- Support experience in a:
- Clinical or functional analyst capacity for major systems
- Proven experience working within an agile environment
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or foundation degree in:
- IT, computer science, or a relevant field
