Join Spectra Group and help develop software for secure tactical communications systems used by defence and government customers around the world. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle - from concept and design through integration, testing and customer support.

We are seeking an Android Developer with strong Kotlin experience. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating applications with existing software platforms and working with networking technologies to communicate with external devices and systems.

Experience with vulnerability scanning, secure development practices, and CI/CD pipelines is desirable. Skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL would also be beneficial for the development and maintenance of internal tools and business applications.

Role Description As an Application Software Design Engineer, you will become part of a multidisciplinary engineering team developing software for advanced tactical communications systems.

This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and software architecture through implementation, integration, testing and customer support. You'll collaborate with systems, hardware and RF engineers to develop robust, secure software for products used in challenging operational environments.

This is an office-based position in Kingstone, Herefordshire, with occasional travel as required.
