About the Role

As an Application Specialist / Business Analyst, you’ll deliver and support solutions across core ERP systems and wider business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and clarify system needs via consultation, process analysis, and observation
  • Act as the project lead to develop and configure customised solutions
  • Mentor and guide other Application Specialists
  • Apply technical expertise to build reports, workflows, and analyse data flows
  • Ensure solutions integrate with other business systems
  • Support the maintenance, optimisation, and enhancement of existing systems
  • Explore emerging technologies and bring innovative solutions to life

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Experience with high-volume order processing ERP systems
  • Strong technical knowledge of relational data, reporting, and data manipulation (e.g., Excel, Business Intelligence tools)
  • Ability to analyse processes and solve complex problems
  • Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-driven, with strong leadership and Listening abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple workstreams effectively

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the K8 ERP system
  • Knowledge of builders’ merchant operations or similar high-volume trade sectors
