About the Role
As an Application Specialist / Business Analyst, you’ll deliver and support solutions across core ERP systems and wider business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and clarify system needs via consultation, process analysis, and observation
- Act as the project lead to develop and configure customised solutions
- Mentor and guide other Application Specialists
- Apply technical expertise to build reports, workflows, and analyse data flows
- Ensure solutions integrate with other business systems
- Support the maintenance, optimisation, and enhancement of existing systems
- Explore emerging technologies and bring innovative solutions to life

Requirements
Essential Skills
- Experience with high-volume order processing ERP systems
- Strong technical knowledge of relational data, reporting, and data manipulation (e.g., Excel, Business Intelligence tools)
- Ability to analyse processes and solve complex problems
- Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical teams
- Self-driven, with strong leadership and Listening abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple workstreams effectively
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with the K8 ERP system
- Knowledge of builders’ merchant operations or similar high-volume trade sectors
