Summary of the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Application Support Analyst (Technical) to support and enhance a range of business-critical applications and technology services. The role combines application support, technical troubleshooting, automation, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for business applications and SaaS solutions.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for advanced support and issue resolution.
- Support application and infrastructure upgrades and security remediation activities.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
- Perform daily operational checks and coordinate timely issue resolution.
- Manage support and enhancement requests for internally developed applications.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and ensure high service quality.
- Troubleshoot incidents and manage service and change requests through defined processes.

Project Involvement:
- Participate in and lead technology projects where required.
- Support delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality objectives.
- Facilitate collaboration across technical and business teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and workflows.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Higher Education qualification (Degree or equivalent) or relevant professional experience.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technical support or business systems support role.
- Experience working independently and managing competing priorities.
Technical Skills:
- Windows Server administration
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Oracle Database
- Unix/Linux environments
- PowerShell scripting
- Python development
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Cloud technologies and concepts
- Understanding of AI applications in IT support
