Kennedys is looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our IT team.
The successful Application Support Analyst will work as part of the IT Offering team, alongside Product Owners, Business Analysts and other IT teams, to provide high-quality support, maintenance and enhancement of the firm's bespoke applications and integrated business systems.

Kennedys IT team is responsible for delivery of a responsive, effective and timely service to the firm's partners and employees.
They devise and implement operational processes and procedures to provide reliable and available IT systems to the firm and ensure the firm has proper applications from which to service its clients.
Our IT Development Team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of bespoke applications that enable the firm to perform more productively or to deliver competitive advantages.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyse and document system issues as reported and identified remedial actions required.
- As a member of an agile team of support analysts work closely with the product owners to deliver product enhancements and fixes to ensure the firm is equipped with the best tools to allow them to provide a high quality of service
- Provide continuous Analyse of the system(s) to assist in setting and defining the technical direction to help achieve improved productivity and efficiency.
- Contribute to the firm's goal of best practice software development, including risks, timelines, trends and appropriate development methodology and technologies for a given objective.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including product owners/managers, business analysts, reporting and other stake holders providing solid advice and identifying risks.
- Support the Agile methodology by attending Sprint Planning, demos and retrospectives as required
- Conduct unit testing and assist with all testing and apply bug fixes where required
- Support integrations with external systems as required
- Create, Maintain and update high quality functional and technical documentation

Required Experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, BI tools, etc.)
- Knowledge of business process modelling and workflows
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Understanding of project management or Agile methods
- Azure DevOps desirable.
- Knowledge of Claims processing
