Location: Remote Salary: £32,000–£35,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated Application Support Analyst to join their growing remote technology team.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with full training provided, ideal for graduates, aspiring IT professionals, junior support engineers, and career changers looking to build a career in software and technical support.
As an Application Support Analyst, you will provide first-line support for business applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and help ensure users receive an outstanding support experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for business applications and software systems
- Investigate and resolve user queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Log, prioritise, and manage support tickets
- Troubleshoot software, application, and user access issues
- Escalate complex technical issues where required
- Support system testing and application updates
- Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge base articles
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to resolve issues
- Deliver excellent customer service while meeting service level agreements (SLAs)

Skills & Experience
- Interest in IT, software applications, or technical support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with ticketing systems or CRM software is advantageous
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Degree, IT qualification, personal projects, or relevant experience is beneficial
