Trade Floor Desktop Support - (Front Office Applications)
London - 5 Days in the Office
We’re working with a dynamic brokerage at the heart of global markets looking to hire a Desktop Support Analyst to support traders working on the trade floor.
The Role:
You’ll act as deskside technical support for the trading desk, ensuring seamless operation of trading systems, connectivity, and desktop infrastructure in a fast-paced, revenue-generating environment. From resolving live trading issues to supporting FIX connectivity and electronic platforms such as Bloomberg, Fidessa and Trading Technologies (TT) , your work will have a direct impact on trading activity.

Key Responsibilities
Provide real-time support on the trading floor, troubleshooting issues under pressure Support front office platforms including Fidessa, Bloomberg and in-house trading systems Monitor and support FIX order flow and connectivity across trading systems Diagnose and resolve issues impacting order execution, pricing, and market connectivity Work closely with traders, brokers, and external vendors to resolve incidents quickly Support dealer boards, voice systems, and trading desktops Assist with system enhancements, releases, and trading platform integrations Contribute to high-availability environments and disaster recovery readiness

What We’re Looking For
Experience in a trade floor / front office support environment Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows Exposure to FIX protocol and order lifecycle Knowledge of market data and trading platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Fidessa) Solid technical foundation across Windows, networking (TCP/IP), and infrastructure Ability to operate calmly in high-pressure, time-critical situations
