Application Support Manager
📍 London (Hybrid)
💰 Up to £100,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A leading organisation within the Insurance and Financial Services sector is seeking an experienced Application Support Manager to join its Technology function.
This is a key position responsible for the operational support, stability, performance and continual improvement of a portfolio of business-critical Front Office applications. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party suppliers, you will play a central role in ensuring application services remain secure, available and aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the support and operational performance of business-critical applications
- Lead Major Incident, Problem and Service Management activities
- Drive service improvements, automation and operational excellence
- Manage supplier relationships, service reviews and performance reporting
- Support change, release and deployment activities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Ensure applications remain secure, stable and fit for purpose

Experience Required
- Application Support, Application Management or IT Operations background
- Strong Incident, Problem and Change Management experience
- Experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications
- Supplier and Vendor Management experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- ITIL knowledge and service management expertise
- Insurance or Financial Services experience preferred
