Application Support Specialist (Housing Management Software)
Location: London Bridge
Work Arrangement: 2 days office-based, 3 days remote working
Salary: £52,000 to £60,000, depending on experience

Role Overview
As an Applications Support Specialist at Hyde, you will help ensure our business-critical applications remain stable, reliable, and fully supported. You will provide technical expertise across our application portfolio, resolving incidents, supporting upgrades, improving data quality, and helping operational teams deliver effective services.
Key Duties
- Provide expert support across Hyde’s application portfolio, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Lead investigations into high-priority, recurring, or complex application, integration, and data issues, identifying root causes and recommending long-term fixes.
- Support approved configuration, minor enhancements, testing, upgrades, patches, releases, and post-implementation validation.
- Investigate data quality and reconciliation issues, produce reports, data extracts, and analysis to support business users and service teams.
- Work collaboratively with technology teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to strengthen application stability, resilience, automation, and service quality.

Requirements
As an Applications Support Specialist, we’re seeking someone who can bring:
- Proven experience supporting enterprise applications, data integration, and analytics tools, including NEC Housing, Workday/Finance systems, OpenText, Snowflake, SSIS, eRPA, and/or TMC.
- Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, including incidents, problems, changes, and releases, with the ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes.
- A clear, collaborative communication style, with the ability to explain technical issues in plain English and work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and passion for improving application stability, data integrity, automation, and service quality.
- The ability to diagnose functional, configuration, and data issues, produce reports and data extracts, use ITSM tools, and stay organized under pressure.
