Applied AI and Automation Apprenticeship

This is an 18-month hands-on opportunity to use AI tools to build real, practical skills in AI while working in a business along with structured learning.

Requirements

  • A Level in Computer Science or equivalent (grade A-C)
  • Over the age of 16
  • Based in London and have the right to work in the UK
  • Looking for a paid work opportunity
  • Curious about technology and keen to learn about emerging trends and innovations
  • Already hold an A Level in Computer Science or a related technology qualification
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and has the confidence to "get the job done"
  • Professional, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
  • Eager to develop your skills while making a real impact on the business from day one

Responsibilities

  • Supporting colleagues to use AI tools like Copilot in their everyday work to build confidence in using AI across the business, promote safe, responsible and ethical use of AI
  • Working on SharePoint, helping to improve and organise the various sites, prepare systems so they’re ready for automation and encourage good practice in how information is stored and shared
  • Supporting AI roll-out by helping to introduce AI tools across different departments, spot opportunities where AI could save time or improve work and support teams as they start to use new tools
  • Improving systems and processes
  • Fixing problems using AI or simple automations
  • Supporting staff to build simple workflows, prompts and AI agents
  • Supporting projects that improve how work gets done

Benefits

  • Salary: £18,000 a year. Salary will increase to National Minimum Wage after completing the first 12 months of the apprenticeship.
