MVOW Offshore Wind UK > Global Offshore > Campaign Support

The NCE Offshore Service Campaign Support is one of 4 teams in the Offshore Service Campaigns Department, where we support the other teams. The Campaign Support department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience when completing projects for our customers, supporting service sites in conducting special campaigns and internal project support within the business.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Act as the nominated Appointed Person (AP) for Lifting Operations, ensuring compliance with local legislation and providing subject matter expertise to site teams on complex lifts
  • Develop, implement, and administer the Safe System of Work (SSoW) for lifting operations, monitoring and updating it as required
  • Prepare and maintain project specific lifting plans and rigging drawings, retaining overall control and responsibility for all lifting activities
  • Ensure lifting operations are executed in accordance with applicable legislation, codes of practice, and Vestas QHSE standards
  • Coordinate and liaise with project teams, clients, engineering, MWS, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to support safe and efficient execution
  • Represent Vestas in internal and external meetings related to lifting activities, proactively resolving cross functional issues to avoid project impact
  • Assess competencies of relevant personnel and deliver inductions, ensuring all staff and technicians involved in lifting operations are suitably trained and authorised

Qualifications

  • Qualified and competent Appointed Person, holding IOSH Leading Safely or NEBOSH, CPCS Blue Card (AP), and Level 5 NVQ in Lifting, with certification aligned to industrial and local requirements
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, and industry standards applicable to all lifting duties, including DNVGL ST N001, BS7121, and relevant industrial standards
  • Proven competence in implementing and managing Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) for lifting operations
  • Experienced in producing detailed lifting documentation, including rigging calculations, lifting plans, and comprehensive risk assessments
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and 2D/3D drawing, supporting the development of accurate rigging and lift drawings
  • Sound understanding of lifting equipment and accessories, including maintenance, inspection, thorough examination, testing, markings, and certification requirements
  • Strong IT capability, with good working knowledge of MS Office and AX systems to support reporting, planning, and coordination activities
