About the Role

We are looking to recruit two new CAP apprentice role in the Mental Health Integrated Network Teams (MINT) in Bristol this autumn 2026. We are looking to place the roles in Inner City and East (ICE) Bristol and in South Bristol MINTs. Both roles are 0.9wte.

We will also consider applications from Clinical Associate Psychologists who have completed their training.

About the Community Mental Health Framework

As part of the Community Mental Health Framework, we are delivering an exciting transformation programme to support people with mental health needs to get the help they need efficiently, and close to home. MINT is a new model, bringing together Primary and Secondary care, Local Authority and Voluntary sector services, into new Mental Health and Wellbeing Integrated Network Teams. These teams aim to support individuals who can fall through the ‘gaps’ of current pathways, making sure that they have the personalised support they need with services around them.

Apprenticeship Programme & Eligibility for Apprenticeship Funding

As this is an apprenticeship position, you will be required to successfully complete a Level 7 ‘Clinical Associate in Psychology’ apprenticeship whilst undertaking the requirements of the position.

Applicants will have already obtained English & Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent GCSE Grades C/4 or above). Your exact pattern of work and study time will need to be agreed with your line manager. You will need to be able to evidence 20% of your working hours, across the full duration of your programme as ‘new learning’.

Depending on the delivery mode of your apprenticeship programme this requirement may be met through a combination of assessor contacts, online attendance and workplace learning and mentoring.
