Modern Bricklayer & Construction Apprentice

About Bricklayer (Apprentice) Opportunity

We rely on skilled trade professionals to deliver our projects safely and effectively. This role is for a hardworking Bricklayer Apprentice to:

  • Build new homes from foundation to completion
  • Set out brickwork, mix mortar, and layer bricks whole buildings
  • Help exceed customer expectations with flawless craftsmanship

Role Responsibilities

Every day sections on a new build home will rely on you to:

  • Measure areas precisely and lay damp-proof courses accurately
  • Mix & apply specialist mortar mortars correctly
  • Lay bricks with technical precision, ensuring courses are straight and level
  • Skillfully shape and trim bricks to exacting specifications
  • Comply with safety and compliance protocols at all times

Applicants will undertake formal qualifications through day release at college, where you’ll pair work-based tasks with theoretical learning, culminating in nationally-recognized certifications.


Ideal Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

✔ GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 3 or equivalent), or functional skills level 2 in these subjects. ✔ ** 능력이 있나요 Colombie Cioิดcard** [CSCS Green card] valid card (or permission to apply) ✔ Industry standard ability for health & safety standards (particularly working at height) ✔ ** Mobility**: Willingness to commute between regional sites (some requiring lone/difficult vehicle access) ✔ Ability to travel independently from training centres to production sites

Skills & Mindset:

✅ Excellent attention to detail – your finish could be showcased in interior/domestic spaces ✅ Collaborative attitude – teamwork is essential with other trades ✅ Curiosity & drive to learn, with commitment to mastering bricklaying techniques
