A BAM apprenticeship
A BAM apprenticeship is a full-time earn and learn position, where you will be involved in delivering multi-million-pound projects. Leaving a lasting legacy and positive change in our communities.
Making Possible
Our construction works cover a range of different sectors and apprentices are based within a variety of different teams working on a wide range of projects, so the type of roles that we have are really varied and interesting. From day one on site you will be with an experienced team of professionals, supporting you to learn and grow your career as a BAM apprentice.
Your day to day will include:
Technical Development
- Gain hands-on experience and put your learning into practice
Problem Solving
- Learn how to overcome challenges on live projects
- Drive quality through effective planning and right first-time delivery
On-Site Experience
- Assist with the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Use industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create technical drawings.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with contractors and other engineers.
- Learn to ensure compliance with building codes, sustainability standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Be part of real construction projects and work closely with our skilled workforce
- Apply your learning and knowledge in real-world scenarios
- Manage quality

Safety and Sustainability
- Help to ensure that work is carried out safely in line with the company Health and Safety.
- Maintaining high personal standards in health and safety
- Maintaining high standards in environmental awareness and behaviour
- Monitoring and recording delivery against the agreed programme and construction methods
- Ensuring that works are accurate and set out before work commences
What You'll Need
Academic Requirements
- GCSE grade 5 (B) or above in Maths
- GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in English Language
- 3 additional GCSE's grade 4 and above
Plus
- 2 x STEM A-Levels or finance, economics, business
- Or
- Relevant Level 3 Qualifications (e.g Civil Engineering, Construction in the Built Environment - Quantity Surveying)
- T Level Design, Planning & Surveying for Construction

This is a two-stage interview process. If you are successful at the application stage, you will be invited to an online interview. The 2nd interview would then be in person in our London office
