Business Resources Apprentice – Adult Learning Lewisham

About the Role

Looking to advance your career through lifelong learning while gaining hands-on experience in an education setting? Our Adult Learning Lewisham centres offer a fantastic opportunity!

The Role

Responsible for supporting the Business Resources team with day-to-day administrative operations, including:

  • Enrolling new and existing learners
  • Setting up and maintaining office administrative processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support in managing and updating administrative systems
  • Work efficiently in both office and remote environments
  • Collaborate actively within the Adult Learning Lewisham centres

Requirements & Skills

You must be:

  • 16+ and a current Lewisham Borough resident (apprenticeships are ring-fenced for borough residents only)
  • Committed to learning and changing lives through education
  • Confident in resolving day-to-day challenges
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with experience in administrative or customer service roles
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications and handling data analysis
  • Comfortable working with database systems and information management
  • Able to maintain discretion with confidential data

Apprenticeship Structure

  • Active participation in a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship

Location & Work Schedule

  • Primarily between our centres at Brockley Rise, Granville Park, and Grove Park, with remote work and training expected at times.

  • Salary: £27,010 per annum (LLW).
