Key Responsibilities
You will prepare, cook, and present food while ensuring it meets:
- Menu specifications
- Customer expectations
You’ll also:
- Maintain the highest hygiene standards, complying with all safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with your team to ensure timely, high-quality meal service
- Stay updated on new products, menus, and promotions
What Your Apprenticeship Includes
- Ongoing support: Face-to-face meetings or Skype/phone catch-ups every 4–6 weeks for feedback and progress discussions
- Training and development:
- On-the-job and off-the-job learning (e.g., workshops and webinars)
- 12-weekly reviews with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer
- Supporting Functional Skills:
- English & Maths (if you don’t already have GCSEs)
- Certification: Upon completion of the 15-month programme, you’ll achieve a Chef Apprenticeship Qualification (Production Chef Level 2)
