Apprentice – Customer Experience & Sales Support, Weston-Super-Mare

Reports To: Senior Customer Success Supervisor

Location: Head Office - Weston-super-Mare

Hours: Full-time (Apprenticeship Contract) - 40 hours

Salary : 16,640 per annum

Purpose of the Role

This apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity to learn the full end-to-end nursery enquiry and admissions process while developing digital marketing and sales communication skills using HubSpot — our customer relationship management (CRM) system.

You’ll play a key role in helping families begin their childcare journey with us, from their first enquiry to registration, while learning how to manage enquiries, analyse data, and use HubSpot automation tools to support family communications.

This role combines hands-on customer interaction with valuable business and digital skills, providing a strong foundation for a future career in marketing, sales, or customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Enquiries & Family Communication

Handle telephone and email enquiries with warmth, professionalism, and accuracy. Support families through their journey from first contact to registration. Schedule and confirm nursery tours, updating HubSpot and ensuring prompt follow-up. Respond to online reviews and feedback in a polite and professional manner. Write and send tailored follow-up communications using HubSpot templates and workflows. Ensure family information is recorded accurately in HubSpot.

HubSpot CRM & Data Support

Learn how to use HubSpot to manage leads, track communications, and automate tasks. Help develop and test new email templates and workflows to improve parent engagement. Support with data cleansing, tagging, and segmentation of parent enquiries. Generate simple reports on enquiry volumes, conversion rates, and campaign outcomes.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the Customer Experience and Marketing teams to improve family touchpoints. Support wider projects such as event bookings, social media campaigns, and parent communications. Attend regular team meetings, contributing ideas for improving the customer journey.

Training & Development

You will work towards a Level 3 qualification (dependent on your prior experience and interests) such as:

Business Administration Customer Service Specialist Digital Marketing

Your apprenticeship will include on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced colleagues in marketing, customer experience, and leadership roles.

Person Specification

Essential

Friendly, confident communicator (written and verbal). Enthusiastic about working with families and providing excellent service. Willingness to learn new systems (training provided on HubSpot, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools). Well organised, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks.

Desirable

Interest in marketing, sales, or early years education. Experience in customer service or admin (even part-time or volunteering). Good attention to detail and accuracy in written work.
