Apprentice Dental Nurse – Hewett’s Dental Practice, Brighouse

Hewett’s Dental Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly team in Brighouse. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while completing your Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, giving you everything you need to become a qualified Dental Nurse.
Conveniently located in Brighouse, we’re an award-winning, well-established private practice with eight modern surgeries. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and supporting each other to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you’ll learn all aspects of dental nursing while working alongside our experienced clinicians and qualified nurses. Your training will include:
- Assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
- Decontamination and infection prevention procedures
- Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Learning about oral health promotion and patient care
- Developing the skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified Dental Nurse

Your Apprenticeship
You’ll complete a fully funded Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship, combining practical experience in practice with dedicated study time.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll receive:
- Full support from your experienced practice team
- A dedicated apprenticeship provider and tutor
- Regular one-to-one reviews and guidance
- Protected learning and development
- On-the-job training to help you build your confidence
- Support to prepare for your End Point Assessment and achieve your qualification
Our aim is to help you develop into a confident, qualified Dental Nurse and build a long-term career within dentistry.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position with the following schedule:
- Monday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 8:00pm
- Thursday: 8:30am – 8:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
