A dental nurse works alongside the dentist, assisting in various NHS and private dental procedures to ensure optimal patient care and experience. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will be part of a supportive environment where we are committed to building cohesive teams that trust each other, work professionally, and take ownership of the practice's success. - Assisting the dentist by providing chairside support and ensuring the availability of the correct equipment and materials.
- Offering support and assistance to a diverse range of patients.
- Adhering to practice health and safety and infection control procedures.
- Keeping clinical areas, equipment, and instruments clean, tidy, and disinfected.
- Accurately completing patient clinical records.
- Completing all clinical daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks.
Training
If you have not already found your own course, we can help you find a course to fund. You will complete The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (level) qualification which will be learning and development through, on the job training with colleagues, online learning from your provider and CPD, face- to-face training sessions. You will need to complete written and practical exams and maintain a record of experience. Riverdale Healthcare are here to support you every step of the way!
