Apprentice Dispensary Assistant
As an Apprentice Dispensary Assistant, you will support the dispensary team in providing an efficient and professional service to patients. You will gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment and learn about the safe handling and dispensing of medicines.
Responsibilities
- Unpacking and checking incoming stock deliveries
- Stock rotation and stock management
- Assisting with the preparation of prescriptions for dispensing under supervision
- Serving patients at the dispensary counter
- Dealing with patient enquiries both in person and over the telephone
- Processing and issuing repeat prescription requests

- GCSE in English (grade 3 and above)
- GCSE in Maths (grade 3 and above)
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
