Apprentice Childcare Role
Hours: 30 hours per week plus supply

About Cherubs Ilkeston
Our newest nursery in Ilkeston opened in September 2024, offering modern facilities for 72 children. As a continually growing team, there are great opportunities for career development. The location is ideal, with easy bus/road access and nearby amenities, including supermarkets and dining options.

Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Childcare Team to deliver outstanding care and support for children and families
- Maintain a safe, secure, and clean environment for both children and nursery
- Be a positive role model for children at all times
- Progress toward your childcare qualification, meeting targets and staying current on coursework
- Assist in planning and delivering activities (indoor and outdoor) tailored to children’s interests and developmental needs
- Foster friendly yet professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and suppliers
- Attend all staff events, including parents’ evening, meetings, summer fairs, and training—some may require after-hours or weekend commitments
