About Our Wynyard Nursery

Our Ofsted rated Outstanding Wynyard nursery serves up to 108 children, providing a stimulating environment rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Your Responsibilities & Expectations

As an Early Years Apprentice, you’ll:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities in keeping with the EYFS framework.
  • Support the team in providing high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences.
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Understand and support children’s individual needs and any additional requirements.
  • Contribute to safeguarding practices ensuring child welfare is prioritised at all times.
  • Progress toward completing your Busy Bees Education and Training apprenticeship within the set timeframe.
  • Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Pro-actively share updates on activity progress with your line manager.

Essential Criteria

To apply, you must:

  • Be passionate about childcare, with a desire to establish a career in Early Years.
  • Meet funding eligibility: Have been a UK resident for at least 3 consecutive years.
  • Provide evidence of:
    • Maths and English GCSEs grade 3/D or above
    • (or an equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills qualification).

Desirable Criteria (not required but beneficial)

  • A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification.
