About Our Wynyard Nursery
Our Ofsted rated Outstanding Wynyard nursery serves up to 108 children, providing a stimulating environment rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Your Responsibilities & Expectations
As an Early Years Apprentice, you’ll:
- Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities in keeping with the EYFS framework.
- Support the team in providing high-quality childcare and positive learning experiences.
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Understand and support children’s individual needs and any additional requirements.
- Contribute to safeguarding practices ensuring child welfare is prioritised at all times.
- Progress toward completing your Busy Bees Education and Training apprenticeship within the set timeframe.
- Show enthusiasm, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Pro-actively share updates on activity progress with your line manager.
Essential Criteria
To apply, you must:
- Be passionate about childcare, with a desire to establish a career in Early Years.
- Meet funding eligibility: Have been a UK resident for at least 3 consecutive years.
- Provide evidence of:
- Maths and English GCSEs grade 3/D or above
- (or an equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills qualification).
Desirable Criteria (not required but beneficial)
- A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification.
