ROLE: Apprentice Extrusion Technician
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 0800-1630, Friday 0800 - 1600 - Fixed term for 18 Months leading to a permanent role.
SALARY: Competitive plus company benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Extrusion Technician, supporting our extrusion processes and production operations.
As part of our skilled Manufacturing team, you'll play a key role in supporting extrusion activities, tooling setup and quality control. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career or looking to progress as a Technician.

WHAT OUR APPRENTICE EXTRUSION TECHNICIANS DO:
- Work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations
- Learn and support extrusion processes, including tooling setup and adjustments
- Develop the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Carry out basic product inspection and quality checks
- Planning and organising tasks with guidance from experienced team members
- Apply a logical, methodical approach to problems and process improvements
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR EXTRUSION TECHNICIANS:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and interest in quality standards
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- GCSE English at grade 4 (C) or above - desirable but not essential
