Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Joining a strong team with 5 Engineers based in Glasgow and expected to travel to various sites in the Glasgow Area + the Northeast where we handshake with the Manchester & Leeds Service Branches.
  • Enrolling on a 4-year program to develop you into a Industrial Refrigeration Field Service Engineer working across a wide variety of customer sites covering a vast range of manufacturing processes.
  • For the first part of your program, you will spend all your time shadowing Qualified Engineers, learning on the tools & be expected to drive your own progress & development.
  • The apprenticeship program is aimed to give an individual the opportunity to develop themselves & will rely on being inquisitive, asking questions, and getting involved.
  • Later in the progress of your Apprenticeship you will be expected to attend sites to complete Planned Maintenance, Breakdowns, and lead Service tasks.
  • Moving towards the final years of your Program, you will be expected to cover Standby with appropriate support.
  • We will also aim to give you experience 'in the Office' so you will be able to see both sides of the Service Branch Operation; quoting, problem solving, planning, and prioritising tasks based on severity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
