Apprentice Service Engineer – Fire and Security 📍 Leicester
You will primarily cover Northampton and Peterborough, with the potential for travel up to Leicester depending on job requirements.

- Fire and security alarms
- CCTV (closed-circuit television)
- Access control
- Intruder systems
As an Apprentice Service Engineer, you’ll:
- Service, commission, and maintain fire and security systems that protect people and property
- Gain hands-on experience in fire detection, intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control systems
- Work across a variety of sites, from residential to commercial and retail locations
- Collaborate with a dedicated team, learning skills to become a qualified fire and security engineer
- Complete on-the-job training, blending college learning and practical mentorship

🎓 Banham Academy 📚 Level 3 Fire Emergency & Security Systems Technician 🧠 A mix of block college training and automated, mentored on-the-job learning
Requirements
Before applying, please ensure you meet the following:
✅ Must hold 5’s (or C’s) in GCSE English & Maths ✅ Must have an UK full driving licence ✅ Ability to work at heights and in all weather conditions ✅ Good physical health and stamina (job involves labour-intensive tasks) ✅ Willingness to travel, work away, and stay overnight in hotels when needed ✅ Strong team spirit, communication skills, and passion for technology and engineering
