Job title – Apprentice Forest Craftsperson

Salary – £24,525 per annum

Contract type – Fixed Term Appointment, Ends September 2028

Hours – 37 hours per week

What You’ll Do…

  • You will work alongside forest craftspeople and beat teams to gain practical experience whilst following a structured training programme.
  • You will contribute to practical operations creating, maintaining, and harvesting forests as part of the UK timber industry.
  • You will be trained to obtain the necessary training and awards to achieve the Level 3 Forest Craftsperson Apprenticeship.

  • You will be asked to write a 200 word statement on your relevant experience and career history, along with a personal statement of no more than 500 words. You will be assessed on both during sifting. More details about how to apply are listed on the application form.
  • You will be assessed on experience and behaviour-based questions during your interview.
