Apprentices will be required to work towards a British Gymnastics Assistant Foundation Coach qualification alongside the apprenticeship. Working in the gym assisting coaches to deliver gymnastics from preschool to teens, with learning gymnastics skills. Opportunity to experience all forms of gymnastics across the club.
Requirements
- Physically fit (this is a physical job, you will be on your feet for long periods)
- Weekend work will be required (at least one day)
- Ability to study hard, especially if you do not have a gymnastics background

Responsibilities
- Assisting coaches to deliver gymnastics from preschool to teens
- Learning gymnastics skills
- Experiencing all forms of gymnastics across the club
- Helping with preschool classes (daytime) via assistant coaching
- Helping with participation programmes (evening), via assistant coaching
- Community programme assistant coaching
- Undertake training to achieve a British Gymnastics coaching qualifications alongside the apprenticeship
- Complete functional skills in English and Maths if required
- Participate in on the job training
- Study during designated "college" time during the week
- Study can take place at work or from home with agreement of manager

About Huntingdon Gymnastics Club
Huntingdon Gymnastics Club was established in 1976, and has had the honour of training gymnasts of all ages and abilities including nal , World and Olympic medalists. We are a charity and have a large participation and community programme as well as our Elite Performance squads. We run preschool classes and open our doors to the general public several times a week for free play sessions and parties.
