About the Role

As an HGV Technician Apprentice, you’ll dive into the fast-paced world of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you’ll develop skills that will make you an essential part of the transport and logistics industry.

  • Engine diagnostics: Learn to identify and fix issues using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Braking and suspension systems: Ensure vehicles stay safe and roadworthy.
  • Electrical systems: Work with modern electronics and onboard computers.
  • Servicing and repairs: Keep HGVs running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • A passion for mechanics and problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • A willingness to learn and work hard as part of a team.
  • A keen interest in vehicles and how they work.
