About The Service

The London Borough of Redbridge’s Extra Care Service is a modern Extra Care Housing scheme which provides high-quality, person-centred care and support to adults living in their own self-contained apartments. Our aim is to promote independence, wellbeing and community inclusion while delivering flexible care which is tailored to the individual needs.

About The Role

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Apprentice Home Care Workers to join our on-site care team. Unlike traditional domiciliary care, this role is based within one scheme, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with residents while working as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team. You will provide responsive, flexible care that promotes independence, dignity and choice in line with agreed care and support plans.

You will have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification under the Adult Care Level 2 Apprenticeship. Apprentices will earn while they learn and be supported through a structured training programme to achievement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
