Job Description

Apprentice Insurance Practitioner (Level 3)

Location: Bishops Cleeve

Starting Salary: £18,000

Full-Time Apprenticeship: Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Qualification

Leaving School or College This Year?

Are you looking for a career that will excite, challenge and inspire you? If so, a Marley Risk apprenticeship could be the role for you. If you're looking for an alternative to university and want to start building a successful career while earning a salary, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We're launching our Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship Programme and we're looking for ambitious, motivated individuals who are ready to learn, grow and build their future.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Insurance Practitioner, you’ll help customers when they need us the most.

Skills

You'll communicate with empathy and organise support based on their policy. Your pathway will help you achieve an industry recognised Chartered Insurance Institute Qualification, but you will also gain new knowledge and skills such as:

  • Legal and regulatory rules and how we promote a culture of treating customers fairly
  • Learning more about insurance - what it is, how it supports our customers, what we do to deliver on our promises to our customers, and how the insurance market functions
  • Developing relationship management skills. You’ll learn how to build and grow your professional relationships and networks to deliver on our commitments to our customers and partners
  • Governance - you’ll learn how Marley (as part of a regulated industry) complies with
  • Technical ability - Whether supporting customer services, complaints, operations, business support, data and reporting, or other business functions, you will gain hands-on experience, learn Marley’s systems and processes, and build the expertise required to deliver excellent outcomes for customers, colleagues and the wider business.
  • Innovation and communication – you'll learn how to suggest ideas to make improvements (considering the impact they may have on business objectives) and develop the ability to communicate information to different kinds of audiences, from other apprentices to leaders within your area

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
