Link Network Solutions is an MSP based just outside Wellingborough, delivering IT, networking, and security support across Northamptonshire and the surrounding area. We design and install CCTV systems, build wired and wireless networks, and provide proactive IT support for commercial and education clients.
Role Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join the team as an IT Engineer. This role suits someone at the start of their IT career who wants hands-on experience supporting real customers, systems, and networks while building their technical knowledge through a structured apprenticeship.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our head office near Finedon. You'll work alongside our engineers, picking up practical skills across IT support, networking, and security systems installation.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line technical support to customers
- Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Assisting with hardware and software installations
- Troubleshooting IT issues in person and remotely
- Supporting network and system maintenance
- Logging and tracking support tickets
- Maintaining IT documentation
- Following security policies and procedures
- Installing and configuring networking equipment and cabling
- Installing and configuring security systems including CCTV

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence

- A genuine interest in IT and networking
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, respectful support to users.
- A willingness to learn through training and hands-on mentoring, with a methodical approach to problem solving
