Learning Technology Support – Apprenticeship Opportunity
Role Purpose
The Learning Technology Support role provides practical, day-to-day support for the digital learning environment and academy. Reporting to the Head of Organisation & People, the role supports the Learning & Technology Specialist in delivering, maintaining, and improving learning platforms, content, and workflows. The goal is to ensure employees can easily access and use learning to build capability and performance.
Success Measures
Successful candidates will contribute to:
- Learning systems that are accurate, reliable, and easy to use.
- Smooth operation of learning workflows across service delivery, technical capability, and business growth.
- Positive feedback from users on learning platform support.
- Up-to-date and accurate learning data and reports.
- Timely resolution of learning technology issues.
- Visible improvements to learning processes and user experience.
Required Capabilities
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Digital & Systems Confidence: Comfort using digital platforms, databases, and online tools.
- Process & Workflow Thinking: Ability to analyse and improve learning and people processes.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing data, systems, and content.
- Customer Support & Communication: Clear, patient, and professional support for users.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive problem-solving and suggestions for better ways of working.
Key Accountability Areas
🔧 Learning Platform & Content Support
- Support the setup, maintenance, and organisation of learning content within the digital platform.
- Assist with uploading, updating, and testing learning materials and pathways.
- Ensure content is easy to find, accurate, and aligned with standards.

📊 Workflow Mapping & Process Support
- Map learning workflows across the business workflow (e.g., service delivery, technical capability, business enabling, growth).
- Document processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
- Support implementation of enhanced workflows within systems and tools.
🎧 User & Operational Support
- Provide first-level support to employees and managers using learning systems.
- Assist with access, troubleshooting, and navigation of learning platforms.
- Track and escalate issues to the Learning & Technology Specialist where necessary.
📊 Data, Reporting & Quality Control
- Maintain accurate records of learning completions and user data.
- Support learning activity, compliance, and engagement reporting.
- Conduct quality checks on learning content and system configurations.
✨ Continuous Improvement & Team Support
- Identify opportunities to enhance learning processes, workflows, and user experience.
- Contribute ideas and feedback for improved digital learning environments.
- Support the Organisation & People team as required.
