Apprentice L&D Consultant Business Partner

Learning Technology Support Role

Role Purpose

The Learning Technology Support role provides practical, day-to-day support for the digital learning environment and academy. Reporting to the Head of Organisation & People, the role supports the Learning & Technology Specialist in delivering, maintaining, and improving learning platforms, content, and workflows—ensuring employees can seamlessly access and utilise learning to build capability and performance.

  • Smooth operation of learning workflows across service delivery, technical capability, and business growth
  • Positive user feedback on learning platform support
  • Accurate and up-to-date learning data and reports
  • Timely resolution of learning technology issues
  • Visible improvements in learning processes and user experience

Key Accountability Areas

1. Learning Platform & Content Support

  • Support the setup, maintenance, and organisation of learning content within digital platforms.
  • Assist with uploading, updating, and testing learning materials and pathways.
  • Ensure content is easy to find, accurate, and compliance-presented.

2. Workflow Mapping & Process Support

  • Map learning workflows across business functions.
  • Document processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and duplications.
  • Support the implementation of improved workflows within systems and tools.

3. User & Operational Support

  • Provide first-level support to employees/managers using learning systems.
  • Assist with access, troubleshooting, and platform navigation.
  • Track and escalate issues to the Learning & Technology Specialist as needed.

4. Data, Reporting & Quality Control

  • Maintain accurate learning records, tracking completions and user data.
  • Support learning activity, compliance, and engagement reporting.
  • Carry out quality checks on learning content and system setups.

5. Continuous Improvement & Team Support

  • Identify opportunities to enhance learning processes.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback for digital learning improvements.
  • Support Organisation & People team on learning-related activities.
