As an Arnold Clark Apprentice, you’ll get paid while you get qualified! And at the end of your training, you’ll have an Autocare Level 2 qualification and hands-on experience in one of our Service departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s willing to learn and wants to advance their career.

Responsibilities Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Working with wheels and tyres
  • Basic servicing, including car health checks
  • Working with steering and suspension
  • Carrying out MOT preparation
  • Putting theory into practice in the workplace
  • Learning about electrical fault diagnostics
  • Filming videos of work done to build trust with customers
  • Overhauling major components

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • GCSE in:
    • English (grade 4 to 9)
    • Maths (grade 4 to 9)
    • Science or another technical subject (grade 4 to 9)
  • Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
