Mechanical Assembler Apprentice
At Halliburton Manufacturing, Arbroath we’re excited to build the next generation of talent for the future!
We are currently advertising for two Mechanical Assembler Modern Apprentices at our Arbroath Manufacturing Facility.
This is a fantastic chance for motivated individuals to kick start their careers, gain hands on experience, and earn while they learn in a dynamic, supportive environment.

What is a Modern Apprenticeship?
The Modern Apprenticeship is a four year programme that includes Off the Job training, Core Skills up to SCQF Level 7, Work Based learning, and further education.
Upon successful completion, candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Modern Apprenticeship.
To Be Considered For This Role, You Should
- Hold a minimum of three National 5 passes, preferably including Mathematics, English and/or Physics, plus Technical subjects would be an advantage.
- Show initiative and a strong, can do approach to work
Selection process
Your application will initially be reviewed by a Recruiter
If you are selected from the longlist, you will then be invited to go through an online skills test with Angus Training Group. This skills test will involve numeracy, communication skills and general aptitude.

For those who pass this test, you will then be invited to an interview onsite at Halliburton Manufacturing, Arbroath.
Offers will be made to successful candidates, with the programme commencing at Angus Training Group in August 2026
