About the Role

TBI Manufacturing Limited began trading over 30 years ago as a sub-contract tube manipulation company and has grown steadily over this time increasing our abilities to encompass all aspects of metal fabrication and forming. The team are looking to recruit for an Apprentice MIG Welder.

£12,480 a year

What you'll do at work

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Participate fully in MIG welding training sessions conducted at TBI Manufacturing
  • Learn to interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
  • Assist in the preparation of metal surfaces and welding equipment
  • Perform basic welding tasks under close supervision
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Develop knowledge of different welding materials and techniques used in production
  • Support the team in day-to-day fabrication tasks as required

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:
Maths and English (grade 4-9)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
