Apprentice Office Administrator

Requirements
- GCSE in: Maths & English (grade 4-9 (A*- C))
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation (e.g., MS Office or equivalent)
- Ability to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit business problems
- Ability to update and review databases, record information, and produce data analysis
- Ability to produce accurate records and documents (emails, letters, files, payments, reports, proposals)
- Ability to make recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management
- Ability to draft correspondence, write reports, and review others' work
- Ability to maintain records and files, handling confidential information in compliance with organisational procedures
- Ability to coach others in task completion processes
- Proactivity and good judgement
- Ability to make effective decisions based on sound reasoning
- Ability to deal with challenges in a mature way
- Ability to seek advice from experienced team members when appropriate
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships within their team and across the organisation
- Ability to influence and challenge appropriately
- Demonstrates ability to become a role model to peers and team members
- Good communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, written, digital)

Responsibilities
- Join our office team as an apprentice and gain practical experience across customer service, administration, compliance, and spreadsheets.
- Support the Office Manager, customers, and complete daily tasks.
- Spend most of your apprenticeship working, learning on the job by getting hands-on experience.
- Complete time away from work for specialist training to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Benefits
- Wage: £14,560 for your first year, potentially increasing depending on age (National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices)
- Training Course: Business administrator (level 3)
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (35 hours a week), with flexibility for the right candidate.
- Start Date: Tuesday 1 September 2026
- Duration: 1 year 6 months
- Opportunities to progress into a permanent role after completing the apprenticeship (e.g., office administration, customer service, compliance support, operations support).
- Opportunities for further training as the business grows.
