What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll learn how to:

  • Prepare surfaces for decoration
  • Paint and decorate homes to a professional standard
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work
  • Work safely and responsibly
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents
  • Take pride in producing high-quality work

No two days are the same, and you'll be learning valuable skills that will stay with you for life.

You'll be someone who:

  • Enjoys practical, hands-on work
  • Wants to learn a trade
  • Is reliable and willing to get stuck in
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Takes pride in doing a good job
  • Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills

Don't have your driving licence yet? That's okay. During your training, you'll need to be able to get yourself to an agreed pick-up location each day. However, because the role involves travelling between properties, you'll need to work towards obtaining a full UK driving licence as soon as possible.
