GTG Training are recruiting for an Apprentice Parts Technician on behalf of Allied Vehicles.

The Modern Apprenticeship Programmes offer a balance of work and learning, allowing you to apply theory directly in a real-workshop environment. Regular assessments and reviews ensure you develop the skills needed to complete your apprenticeship successfully.
What a Typical Day Might Look Like
As an apprentice, you’ll be based in the garage workshop, working across essential automotive tasks:
- Vehicle repair and maintenance
- Vehicle servicing
- MOT preparation
- Removing, replacing, and overhauling major components
- Diagnosing electrical faults
Additionally, within the parts department, you’ll:
- Receive and dispatch parts
- Assess and respond to customer enquiries
- Source components for technical teams and customers
- Update inventory systems for parts tracking

What You’ll Learn

Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements:
- National 4 or above in English and Maths. (A qualification in admin or computer studies is preferred but not essential.)
Personal Qualities:
- Eager ambition to launch a career in the automotive industry.
- A dedicated, proactive approach to work and learning.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong initiative in a practical environment—no reliance on instructions!
- A UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
