About the Role
We're looking for an Apprentice Programme Lead to drive the success of our apprenticeship and early talent programmes.
This is a role for someone who is passionate about developing people, building talent pipelines, and creating outstanding learning experiences. You will lead apprenticeship activity across the organisation, working with managers, training providers, and apprentices to ensure programmes deliver real value for both individuals and the business.
From attracting new talent to supporting apprentices through qualification and career progression, you will play a central role in developing the next generation of capability.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop apprenticeship programmes across the business
- Act as the internal expert on apprenticeships, funding, compliance, and best practice
- Build strong relationships with training providers and key stakeholders
- Support apprentices throughout their journey, including guidance, coaching, and pastoral care
- Manage apprenticeship budgets and funding to optimise value and ROI
- Support recruitment activities, including candidate selection and assessment
- Oversee development pathways and work placements that provide meaningful learning experiences
- Use data and insights to measure programme success and drive continuous improvement
- Lead work experience initiatives that strengthen engagement with future talent

What You’ll Bring
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering apprenticeship programmes or workforce development initiatives
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with training providers, learners, or educational partners
- Coaching, mentoring, or pastoral support experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A commitment to developing people and creating inclusive opportunities
