You will gain hands-on experience managing costs, contracts, and budgets alongside industry experts. With dedicated study time built in, you'll earn a professional qualification while developing real-world skills. Most of your apprenticeship is spent working, learning on the job by gaining hands-on experience.

Requirements

  • GCSE in: English (grade 6)
  • A Level in: Maths (grade C)
  • Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
  • Visiting site and working at height.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
  • Managing and controlling project costs from start to finish
  • Procuring and managing subcontractors and suppliers
  • Preparing valuations and applications for payment
  • Drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts
  • Preparing financial reports and final accounts
  • Liaising with clients and site teams
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget
  • Advising on commercial matters
