Apprentice Sales Assistant

Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant

If you love retail, you’re in the right place.

Are you looking to join a great place to work? We are recruiting for an Apprentice Retail Sales Assistant to join the team!

About the Role

Let’s talk about the job:

No two days are the same here at Savers, and the ideal Apprentice Retail Savers Sales Assistant has:

  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Enthusiasm for getting involved and working as part of a team
  • A commitment to making our customers feel great
  • Excitement about being the hero in store ensuring our store standards are always exceptional

You’ll recognise our Sales Assistants (SAs) for their local community engagement and ability to offer customers the best deals on the high street. This role is about fostering the future leaders of Savers.

Your training will take place entirely in-store over the first 12 months, with no college days or formal study. Instead, you’ll receive hands-on encouragement from both your team and your tutor while pursuing a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship. Assessments include a discussion on your experiences and observation of your role in action.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
