Job Introduction

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are looking to begin a career within the Parts & Service department of the motor industry.

No experience needed, just the right attitude!

What Will You Be Doing?

Duties

Your apprenticeship with Pentagon will be diverse, fast paced, with no two days being the same. As well as having regular meetings with your Apprenticeship provider and completing your course work, you will also be a fully fledged member of our Parts and Service Department. You will be learning and contributing every day to the department, picking parts for delivery, stock checking, answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries. By doing this, you will also be building your portfolio to complete your Trade parts Apprenticeship. Part of your duties will include:

  • Meeting & greeting customers both face to face and over the telephone.
  • Liaising with the Workshop and other departments.
  • Stock control and ordering of parts
  • Using both internal and external computer systems
  • Achieving pre-defined targets for upselling various Aftersales products & services
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service in line with Group and Manufacturer standards.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm

Who Are We Looking for?

As an Apprentice with the Pentagon Group, you will need to:

  • Have a genuine, keen interest in the Motor trade
  • Be self motivated with bags of enthusiasm
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships.
  • Be able to follow instructions and processes and show excellent attention to detail
  • Have good IT skills
  • Possess a team player mentality
  • A minimum grade C / 4 in English and Maths and preferably in a Science based subject.

Please note that successful applicants will be given a pre-screening call from our Apprenticeship Provider.
